Our latest Wittmore Takeover is here for the holidays, featuring Los Angeles local Robert Siegel Studio! This is Robert's first shop in shop and we're excited to launch his latest collection made from black porcelain exclusively inside Wittmore Arts District. The installation will feature all new items including a limited-edition candle collaboration, ceramic cups and bud vases, signature berry bowls and lots more! We've carried Robert's handmade porcelain for a long time now. We met him when we first opened and our clients really appreciate his aesthetic. Plus he's open to new ideas and doing custom pieces for Wittmore. You can shop his collection online or in our Arts District location.

Recently we visited his DTLA studio where we spent the day collaborating on a new fig, tobacco, and camp fire scented candle that is made right here in LA from natural coconut wax. It smells amazing and the best part is, when you're done burning, you can run it through the dishwasher and use a drinking glass, as a vase, anything really.

His studio is newly expanded and set up in a few different zones with areas for slip casting, hand-throwing, and firing. It's a nice big open space with natural light. It was impressive seeing how his production has grown and everything we've been working on together!

We've been hosting various events at our downtown flagship to celebrate our partnership. If you haven't RSVP'd yet - we're hosting a LET'S GET GLAZED daytime glazing event on Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 1pm - 4pm where you can learn new glazing techniques and make your own masterpiece.
