BRAND NOTES
Still by Hand was founded in 2000 by designer Yusuke Yanaghi. The collection is made in Japan with local fabrics, working closely with factories throughout the country including Aomori (furthest North), Iwate, Niigata, Gunma, Tokyo, Ghifu, Osaka, Okayama, and Hiroshima (furthest South). He takes an open-minded approach to color and produces each piece, preserving and focusing on small details that are often eliminated in a more mass production process.
